An Italian vegetable garden

dome-and-aldo

You’ve finished your house, the builders have gone away, and there is something missing. What is it? Then you realise, the sand bowl that passes for a garden around your house, needs to be organised. It needs to be pumelled into shape, but how are you going to manage it, on a few weeks in the spring, the long hot summer weeks, and a few weeks in the autumn? In addition, you had a dream of eating fresh vegetables, but for that you need some of these, pictured above, a small motorised plough to turn that heavy earth, a couple of sturdy men to hold it in place (one of these is my husband, so I hope I can get away with describing him as sturdy) and then someone to plant the vegetables and tend them, so that when you are in Italy you can eat your own vegetables.

This is where we come in.
